"MUSIC EXPRESSES THAT WHICH
CANNOT BE PUT INTO WORDS AND
THAT WHICH CANNOT REMAIN SILENT."
Michelle is a voice and piano teacher with over 17 years of experience in the private sector. She has an intense passion for the musical journey that each individual takes on and caters her lessons to fit each student. Let's face it, we're not all the same, so why should our journey be the same.
Along with her passion, her credentials include a BA in Voice from UW-Whitewater, WI. And for further development, she has taken part in Muiskgarten certifications (intro music classes), recording technology classes at MMI (Madison Media Institute), Songwriting workshops at Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA, and is a member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
She encourages her students to take part in the local chapter auditions for the WMTA (Wisconsin Music Teachers Association) every year. By doing this, she prepares them for future performances and gives them confidence in their music ability. She also holds 1 - 2 recitals for her
students yearly which gives the students ample time to show off their new skills to the family!

“Our experience with Michelle was wonderful! She provides encouragement and direction. She alters the plan, the pace and everything she feels necessary to alter for my 9 year old daughter to learn. Michelle is very encouraging and patient!”
“Working with Michelle, to enhance my (toddler) son's music enrichment has been such a delightful experience. She is always charming and excited to work with him. And he has no idea he's learning early music theory; he simply loves the games she puts to music. I am extremely satisfied with our decision to start him early on; we have no doubt every chance to meet with her prepares him for future music lessons!”
"We have been incredibly impressed with Michelle's approach to teaching. She demonstrates adaptability in modifying to the needs of the student, while encouraging growth through challenging work. Michelle is easy to work with and flexes to accommodate shifting schedules. We are grateful for the experience Michelle has provided our daughter, who now has a solid foundation of reading music, learning theory and applying it."
